Major platform operation principles
A practice-oriented approach

Unlike a standard theory-oriented program, the student starts with practical tasks right off the
bat. Reading and watching study materials is done in parallel with doing the practical tasks, which helps the student improve their skills and remember theory much better.
Choosing an education trajectory independently

The relatively free access to a wealth of tasks lets each student select their own strategy for finishing each course, depending on their own practical needs. Each course is designed as a way to practice specific skills that are then combined into an individual competence map/portfolio for the student.
Competition and gamification

The learning process is done in an open competitive format: the students can see each others' projects and marks, compete for ladder placements, and receive rewards for completing
courses. When calculating each student's ladder placement, the system accounts for the other students' achievements, which stimulates the students to learn the material and finish their projects better than everyone else.
Detailed feedback on the projects

Instead of a single mark, each project is graded on several ten-point scales according to easy-to-understand marking criteria. Each mark is accompanied by detailed comments by experts that expand on the strong and weak points of the project and show exactly what the student still
needs to work on.
Graphic study progress tracking

On their account page, the student can see a graph of their marks for every submitted project according to all criteria, as well as all the rewards they've received. They can also track their progress in studying the selected skills and see how many more tasks they need to complete to finish that particular track.
Project portfolio and the certificate of skills learned

The certificate is generated automatically upon the completion of a course. It contains only the skills practiced during the course where the student has completed all the mandatory tasks with high marks. The certificate is supported by a portfolio with a list of project cards completed.
Who benefits from this the most?
Schools and universities
This approach lets you go outside the realm of standard courses with lectures, seminars, and exams.
Companies that educate their staff
We make the education process interesting and effective, and its results are immediately applicable to your field of work.

Start-up accelerators

How does
the competitive platform work?
Let's use the Multimedia Challenge Cup, a competition we've been hosting for a third year now, as an example. You can see the major steps a competitor has to take on the screenshots below:
Log in using the social network of your choice to participate.
Fill out the participant questionnaire
Tell us who you are, and what your goals are. Link your social network profiles. It's important that you specify what email address you'd like us to send competition information to, otherwise you risk missing out on information about your progress.
Select the "envelope" with a task from the ones available to you
Select tasks based on both the topics you're interested in and their deadlines.

Hint: if you are given more than a few days for a task, it might take a lot of effort to complete
Task theme

A hint on what you need to do
Click here to select this task
Time to complete
Task name
Carefully read the task requirements
A counter will pop up to tell you how much time you have left to complete the task
Full task requirements
Note the task requirements, especially the specifics for the design and publication. And remember, everything that's not forbidden is permitted :)
Don't forget to read the study material
Carefully study the materials
In the "how to complete" block, you will find the materials that will help you both complete the task, and study the appropriate knowledge field for the selected track. The task materials not only contain a description of tools and practices, but also have a significant amount of the theoretical basis for the knowledge field in question.
The task materials are revealed when you start working with the task, but are available indefinitely. All the methodology materials are saved in the "Library" section, where you can access them at any time.
Submit material
Note the illustration requirements
You need to put the task material on your site, blog or social network profile in order to immediately practically apply your new skills. You also need to submit it on the competition page by filling out a simple form.
Submit a full link
Link example:
mmcflash.online/transport.html
Try to clearly describe the material, who its target audience is, and what its goal is
After submitting the material, it will be checked by a moderator before publishing.
The material is published
After your project is published on the competition page, it becomes available to the expert judges for marking. Wait for your mark and feedback from the judges, and in the meantime, share links to your submission, and get likes from the competition audience. This will improve your placement on the ladder.
Link to the project
The number of points awarded to the material is determined from the judges' marks and the audience likes.
Judges' marks
The expert judges give their marks according to several criteria, and send you detailed feedback on your submission. The maximum mark is 10 points.
The total mark is the average of your marks according to each criterion.
You always know who is grading you
Marks graphs
You can track your progress both using your ladder placement, and the graphs of your marks on your account page.
Average mark according to each criterion
Expanding on the mark criterion

Ladder placement
The ladder not only tracks individual participants, but also regions, if people from different cities participate in the same competition.
